NEW AND IMPROVED LIBRARY FACILITIES - COME AND VISIT US!
Our Family History Genealogy Research Library is located in the Dupont Building at Fort Ethan Allen, Colchester Vermont. We are handicapped accessible and located in the rear of the building.
The library has a growing collection of reference books, manuscripts, periodicals and microfiche. We continue to purchase published "repertoires" of church records pertaining to marriages, baptisms and burials.
There are 6 computers with free access to major genealogy databases including Ancestry.com. Volunteers will help guide your research into many ethnic groups.
A wide array of genealogy classes and lectures are held at the library. Visit our website to see the current schedule at www.vt-fcgs.org
Members may use our library any time it is open for research. Visitors may use our library one time without any cost. Non-members may use our library for a fee of $5.00 a day. A membership is $30 per year with $6 added for each family member who wishes to join.
Tuesdays from 3pm until 9:30pm and Saturdays from 10am until 4pm with the exception of holiday weekends. Check upcoming events & classes for seasonal hours.
Out of state members may call Janet Allard (802-878-8081), Janet Landry (802-864-6037), or John Fisher (802-862-8082) if they would like to make arrangements to visit the library during non-scheduled hours.
