Quebec Research Finding Aid

posted in: Tips and Tricks | 0

Over the last eighteen years, the Vermont French-Canadian Genealogical Society has amassed a great number of resources for their Vermont Genealogy Library. John Fisher, VT-FCGS Member #2 and the webmaster of the www.vt-fcgs.org website has added a new piece of information that is designed to assist with finding the right resources to research Quebec family roots.

This finding aid comes from John’s vast knowledge of the Library’s resources and his interest in helping others with their Quebec research. The new Quebec Research Priorities document has been added to the www.vt-fcgs.org/new_misc.html page. The spreadsheet contains resource names, resource types, media types, kind of data, the dates the resources cover and a comment on where you can find it in our Vermont Genealogy Library.

John tells me that it is “still under development”, so please re-visit the site on occasion to check for new resources.
