Renovated Computer Room

The renovations of our computer room are complete. Each wall is lined with computer tables and a shelf for your personal items above the computer station. Also we've replaced many of the white plastic chairs with cushioned office chairs that swivel and roll.

There are a total of 13 stations in the room. There is a dedicated PRDH computer and the remaining 12 stations are a mixture of PCs and Chromeboxes. These 12 stations are double the number from one year ago! There are additional computers in the library room.

Our Chromeboxes have the advantage of allowing USB flash drives. You can now download an image of a census and take it home for further study. In addition if you are using a Genealogy program such as 'Family Tree Maker' or 'Reunion' the file can easily be incorporated. In case you don't have a USB flash drive, 8GB flash drives are for sale in the computer room at a price of $5.00 each.
